About this tour

Sundarban is a vast mangrove delta in eastern India, located in West Bengal where the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna rivers meet the Bay of Bengal, bordering Bangladesh to the east. It is known for its dense mangrove forests, intricate network of rivers and creeks, and being home to the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, the largest mangrove forest in the world and habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 1
JOURNEY TO SUNDARBAN
SUNDARBAN STATION

Start the day at Jharkhali, then sail along the Matla River towards the Bay of Bengal. From there, head to Alga Dwip, and wrap up the day exploring Parbari Jungle.

 

Overnight Stay in Birdview Point.

Begin at Sajnekhali and move on to Sudhanyakhali, followed by a visit to Dobanki. The journey continues through Gajikhali and Pirkhali, then to Bonbibi Bharani and Panchamukhani. From there, pass through Nabaki and Deulbharani before reaching Choragachi.

 

Night Stay in Birdview Point.

The day starts at Dayapur Island with a visit to Bonbibi Temple, followed by Bali Island's Lokenath Temple. Next, explore Gosaba Island and Anukul Thakur's Ashram, before concluding at Rabindranath's Bekon Bungalow and Hamilton's Bungalow.

 

Tour ends with drop-off.
